# Gifts for plant lovers, beyond another plant.

Their windowsill may already be full. Choose around what they like doing: taking cuttings, trimming herbs, keeping leaves tidy or preserving a flower from a walk. A useful tool or small project can fit the collection they already care for.

## How we chose these

These six gifts cover plant care, propagation and botanical projects. We based the selection on the brands’ published information and dated catalog checks. Grow kits are projects from seed, not mature plants, and success depends on suitable light, care and conditions.

Editorial selection based on brand information, not a hands-on test. Prices and availability are dated snapshots.

## What can I give a plant lover who has no space for another plant?

Consider fine shears, a small care kit or a flower press. A vase also suits someone who already takes cuttings, but it still needs a place to live. Start with their current habits and available space.

## Do the grow kits include a fully grown plant?

No. The lavender and basil selections are growing projects from seed. Product photographs may show an example of the grown result. Check the merchant’s contents and care guidance before buying.

## Are these gifts all beginner-friendly?

We have not tested or assigned difficulty ratings. Match the gift to the recipient’s experience, light and willingness to care for a growing project. Tools for plants they already own may be a better fit than introducing another species.
